As you might have gathered, I have been accused of being a 'lucky sod' today. Apparently, good stuff just falls into my lap and, being an only child, my parents spoiled me and set me up for a comfortable life. This is partially true because my parents DID spoil me but only with good working class ethics and a pride in aspiration.

We have the same thing all the time.
Usually from people who have chosen to have kids, or who treast money as disposable rather than a precious commodity that needs to be nurtured.

I've concluded that most of them are simply jealous and can't stand the fact that we've made much better choices than they have.

Luck doesn't come into it.

Have you ever noticed how, if something good happens to most people, they attribute it to hard work, and if it happens to others, it's luck?
