I went to see the Simpsons movie today. It's multi-layered, multi-coloured, fast paced and very very funny (and a bit moving in places). Far too good to waste on kids (of which there were plenty in the cinema but thankfully very well behaved). I especially loved all the sly digs at religion (and there were loads) and I was also over the moon to hear the cinema audience gasp with repulsion when two sexy cartoon cops kissed and disappeared into a motel room (see, we're not fully integrated yet and still have the power to piss-off folk). Roll on an American Dad/Family Guy movie.
I can't believe I just described cartoon cops as sexy.
